Our production plants of MARMOL COMPAC (in Spain) and QUARTZ COMPAC (in Portugal) occupy a surface area of 50,000 and 100,000 square metres respectively, and have an annual production capacity of over two and a half million square metres. COMPAC The Surfaces Company offers two products: technological marble and technological quartz, which are sold under two names MARMOL COMPAC and QUARTZ COMPAC, respectively. The market currently demands products that are able to carry out the function for which they were originally created, while being aesthetically pleasing. Our engineered stone technology makes it possible to develop and manipulate natural quartz and marble so that it can be adapted to our modern world, going beyond the technical and aesthetic limitations.

Silestone is natural quartz surfaces treated and created to decorate today’s kitchens and bathrooms in a range of attractive quartz colours, extraordinary quartz textures, and top-quality performance. It is the only one with an anti-bacterial protection for worktops that guarantees maximum hygiene on its surfaces.

Silestone is a compound made up of 94% natural quartz, which make it extraordinarily hard and resilient. This is the one and only worktop made of quartz with anti-bacterial protection, giving it hygienic properties that are not to be found anywhere else on the market. It is an excellent surface for kitchen worktops, bathrooms, floors and wall cladding using the minimum number of joints.

Quartz is crystallised silicon dioxide (SiO2), which is usually white or transparent, although it can be found in other colours if it comes into contact with impurities during its formation.

It is found either in a pure state or present in other compounds. However, because of its extreme hardness and resistance to acids, it is used to make a large variety of products that require precision and top-quality performance. This type of quartz forms the main component in Silestone boards.

Çimstone As the sole producer of quartz-based composite stone in Turkey having its production facility and management headquarters in Izmir since 1996, Çimstone continues to operate with region offices based in Istanbul, Ankara and Northampton England as well as solution partners spread country-wide and located in four continents. Having sustained a planned growth, today Çimstone has become the indispensable flooring material for many corporate chain store projects such as Teknosa, Avea, The Body Shop, Claries, Debenhams, Gap Stores, TEB.

Having stepped into the market of modular kitchen by beginning 2005 Çimstone has proved to be assertive also in this sector with an investment of 15 mio US dollars it made for its second production facility. Having made an other capacity increase in its large slab line of 305x140 cm by the beginning 2008 Çimstone is said to be creating a distinctive notion of kitchen and baths with its high quality, corporate guaranteed counter and vanity tops accompanied with customer oriented services.
